I finally decided I will never restore my 76 trans am. So I will sell it to a member who has the ability & energy to restore this ca. She is kind of rough.

She has good front sub frame, & rear frame rails. Firewall & top are in good shape. She comes with a Pontiac 400 in unknown condition. And a 350 turbo trans. Rear end rolls but don't know what gear ratio it has.

Here is the good news. The car comes with the following good used & new repo parts. I will indicate which are used & which are new.

Used left & right complete GM quarter panels. These have all parts of quarter panel.
Used radiator support.
Used front fenders, need rust repair done to them
New hood
New door skins
New floor pans including all front & 1 back seat pan. Can't remember if back seat pan is left or right side.
New trunk pan.
New gas tank.
1 new & 1 used trunk lid
1 new & 1 used filler panel between trunk lid and rear glass.
New taillight panel
New tie in panel that goes between taillight panel & trunk pan.
New quarter panel skins.
2 sets of used seats and many other parts.
At today's prices, this sheet metal would go for around $ 5K

As I stated above, this car will only go to someone who is going to give her the love she deserves. You must have a trailer to put car on, and a pickup truck to carry the rest of the parts.

Contact sea dog if you are interested. Remember, you must be able & willing to do the work she needs.

To those who meet these requirements, I will give the deal of a lifetime. Contact sea dog.

Car is in central Florida.

I'd be interested if I didn't already have 4 project birds already.

I'm even interested, especially if you're sticking to the previous price. I'm not far away (SouthWest Pasco). I'm just kicking around if I'm physically capable of the restoration, and more importantly, skilled enough. Sounds like I'd be learning how to weld and while it's something I want to get into, I'm just not sure if learning on something responsible for protecting Human life is the right move.

I'll let you know. At the previously advertised price, or even the current cost of the new sheet metal alone, nobody is losing out. Heck, I might just as my 12yo could be interested in restoring it as his first car which would be good for us to bond over, and 4 years to completion might be about right.

...but I can see the birthday argument now, which Trans Am he actually gets.

I doubt I could part with either when the time comes. ;)

Bump

There's a lot of important info missing from the OP.

First of all are all the new/used parts needed to repair rust damage or collision damage? How badly is it rusted? If collision damage, how bad?

Secondly, is the car still fully assembled or partially taken apart? And if partially apart how far apart is it? Engine & trans in or out? Sub frame still attached? Front suspension? Can it roll? Glass? Has it been stored inside or outside?

What were the stock colors? PHS?

And lastly, it's really hard for anyone to guess what it looks like or what's involved without any pics at all, even if they're pics of it in a garage being used as a shelf.

Price of car & all the restoration parts is $800.

Car is a roller with engine, trans, & rear end in car. Front end sheet metal is off car. All parts included are parts that need to be replaced because of rust. Last owner cut part of left rear quarter panel off. Taillight panel & trunk pan are cut out.

Front subframe is in good condition. While rear frame rails are in pretty good shape. Roof, cowl, & firewall are good. Most of the welding needed will be spot welds. Once you practice these, they become pretty easy to do.
