Just saw this ad for a YS code '72 400, complete carb to pan for $750. It has the desirable 481988 block. So, it should be good either for a strong 400 or stroker build. If all the parts are original, it will also have the good, one year only, intake, which will work with all the '72-up heads, but doesn't have the EGR.
The only downside I can think of is that the 7K3 heads have no end exhaust manifold bolt holes.
But, they can be used, and are otherwise good heads, especially for a stroker build. :smile22:
