This guy says he has a '72 Iron Intake and a # 7042264 Q-jet, for sale "in great shape". $150 each, or $260 for both. :smile22:

The casting # for the intake should be 485912. And the Q should look something like the one pictured below.

1970 400 shortblock for $250--in NY. If the block and crank are good, it may be a bargain. :yes

The Sept '69 date code block should have been used in a '70 model car, I reckin. The casting number for the '70 model block should be 9799914.
