Front and rear suspension worn out. Pretty sure its original. Obviously the mono-leaf works but have always been a little leary about only having one leaf spring . I don't want to raise or lower ride height. Should i just go back to mono-leaf or can i convert to multi leaf without the rearend being jacked up? Also since the rearend was swapped out in the past the factory traction bar is long gone. Any recommendations on traction bar to get rid of wheel hop? Right now with worn out springs if i get caught in the rain it wheel hops no matter how easy i hit the go pedal. Thank you for any advice

I've never made the swap, so I don't know how much work is involved. But I see no reason why you couldn't swap to multi leafs. The spring mount on the rear end, will sit on the top leaf, so shouldn't change the ride height, I don't think. But there are different strengths and arches in springs which can affect ride height. So, I suppose the chances of at least a slight difference can be expected.

Regular slapper bars will stop wheel hop, IF they are adjusted so that they contact the spring as soon as power is applied. We used 'em for racing, but I adjusted 'em for some preload, with a bit more on the passenger side. This will wear out the rubber bumpers fairly quickly, I would assume.

If you can spend about $400 or so on it, the Cal-Trac bars are the hot set-up, for street and race.
