Just 40 years after that car made its mark as a Pace Car favorite, the Camaro will return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the Indy 500 pace car! 2009 marks the fifth time the Chevrolet Camaro has been selected to pace the Indianapolis 500 (1967, 1969, 1982, 1993, 2009).
