Pretty major transplant, Tyler. First off, your V6 cradle will not support the weight or the power of the SD455. There are manufacturers who make custom front clips and the beauty of them is that the revised suspension geometry is also included. But they're not cheap. Upwards of $500 for the K-member alone is not unreasonable, then you have to factor in installation.
Beyond that, you need a beefier trans and rear end to handle the output. That may require some creative engineering at the rear as well. Finally, you'll need to convert all the lights and gauges that run off the computer to units that can accept analog signals, unless you go hybrid, with fuel injection, etc. That would require a custom computer as well. So, in answer to your question, yes - it is possible and has been done. But you'd best have deep pockets to accomplish the task.
