I've done some searching here on the boards, and also around the internet just looking for a basic how to motor swap. I have a 350 in my trans am, and I'm putting another 350 into it. Obviously, tons of writeups exist for 6 to 8 cylinder swaps. This one is probably very basic, as it is pretty much the same motor going back in. Just take out the one that's in there, and reverse the steps to put the new one in. However, I have never attempted this before, and I figured it could be a really good learning experience (and save me some cash at the same time). What I'm looking for is a really basic guidline for this swap, mostly for the tools I need to complete it. I don't have very many available to me, and I don't want to get stuck half way through and not have the right tool for the job. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
