1977 Trans Am / Year One Wheel Help Needed

I have a question that I was hoping someone could help with or offer some advice on.

I recently purchased a set of Year One Snowflake Wheels for my 1977 Trans Am. They are 17" X 9" cast aluminum gold "Snowflake" wheel with 4-7/8" backspacing.

While trying to have them installed, the installer was telling me that they "lug centric" wheels and that the lugs provided in the kit from Year One are not and there's a ton of space between the wheel studs. Also, the hub seems to not be correct either.

I'm surprised at this because I purchased the complete wheel kit from Year One, but I saw what the installer was saying myself. He says if he installs them with what was provided, that under hard use they would certainly shear off.

I was going to call Year One, but they are closed weekends.
