1988 Pontiac Firebird

I had an issue with the dash lights not illuminating. After about four hours of troubleshooting i finally found the tiny little part that was the culprit. The remote dimmer under the dash was bad. Well, at least the transistor in it was gone. I looked the part up at napa.com and found one for 40 dollars. I did some more research and found the transistor at radio shack for $2.50. I went with the more inexpensive. Now i have dash lights.
