Best thing to do would be to copy and paste your post to start a new thread in "All Things V6". Tacking a new problem onto a thread in the "Resolved Issues" forum isn't going to get as much traffic as a new thread in the correct forum.

i have a '96 3.8 birdy, and the service engine light is on and whenever i power wash it or we get a medium to heavy rain, i start it up, and the car starts shaking and it doesnt run right for about 30 seconds, and whenever this happens the service engine light blinks, then after about 30-60 seconds, it just runs normal again, does any1 know what's going on? thank you.

I've had the exact same problem before on 2 ocassions. What's (more than likely) happening is water is leaking through the cowl weatherstripping onto your ignition coils. I pulled the code during the second time it happened and it was for cylinder #2 misfiring. Turns out water was dripping directly onto the ignition coil for #2. Happened while I was basically sitting still during heavy rain on both ocassions, still haven't had it happen after washing it though.
