I have a 1982 Trans Am that I restored and love. I had it running great for about 6

months and now it has developed a really bad lag. I step on the gas and it about dies before it finally accelerates. It has dual TBI and I suspect fuel pressure. I can not find any information on the pressure the fuel pump should put out before it is regulated. The fuel pressure at the TBI is 10 psi . The system is the stock cross-fire injection system and the TPI checks out OK and I cant find a major vacuum issue, any ideas?

I think 9-13 stock (but ideally 15psi) is where you want to be, so 10 sounds about right.  Maybe clean the "injectors", could be a blockage?

Found problem, a crushed fuel line. Pressure was good but low volume. I now have to find new fuel sending unit which includes pluming out of tank. I found plenty for 85 but none for 82. Do you know the difference between these units for example the Dorman 692-137 for an 85 and what I need, they look the same but give no specifics in the description and looks don't always matter.. Thanks for the help.

Do you need the complete sending unit including the pump?

Hawks has a refurbished unit without the pump.  Very expensive, but appears part of the price is a core charge, requiring return of your old part in decent condition.  Shows unavailable, but they might have got another one in.  Worth a call.

They also have the TBI (low pressure) fuel pump.
