Anyone got a pic of the vacuum routing for a 76 Pontiac 350 with a 2 barrel ?

Never mind, I found the Vacuum Diagram on another post.....

 

But is the vent just left open?  .....Looks wrong......I can tell I've not had a car with a Carb for about 20 years.....
