I have a 1971 FB with a non tilt column, I have the chance to get a pre 78 column with the spline shaft, not the double D. What else needs changed to do the swap? Did the early F bodies have anything special like a different electrical connector?

I swapped a tilt column from a '76 Trans Am into my '71 Trans Am.........easy swap. The wiring connector that goes to the column was the same.
