Hi guys and gals, so I put some c5 sport seats in my 00 trans am figured Id try something different , well I figured out the power/ground part of the seats but is there a wire I should be connecting for the air bag to detect Im sitting on the seat or is it controlled by the wires going to seat belt connector on floor ? The c5 seats have belt attached to seat vs floor so I just took that off and left the floor one that was in my car since it has its own wiring

Per 2000 factory service manual, schematic on page 8-523, appears the driver seat signal is routed through the seatbelt buckle assembly, to the body control module.
