Hello at all!

In next time, i need a new exhaust for my 1980 Formula with 305sbc.I want to have endpipes with dual tipps. I need both silencers and the endpipes new.

Can i take some from walker exhaust? Or are they bad quality? I need an exhaust, which is not to loud for street.

Wisch you a nice day!

It's been awhile since I've used any Walker exhaust products. But in the past, they were a good, quality, product.

Sounds like you're trying to do what I did. I just installed the Walker tailpipes on my 81 Formula earlier this year.

I've got the one into two transverse muffler on my car. I replaced the muffler too with one for an 82-up f-body. I don't recall the specifics, but I had to use some adaptors to reduce down to the 2-inch. Took a few trips to the parts store, but I'm pleased with the final result.

I'll try to find the p/n for that muffler and post some pictures later.

Pretty sure I used the Walker SoundFX 18232. It's a little shorter than the "correct" 17839. More importantly, it was in stock at my local O'Reilly's at the time I was installing the pipes and decided the old Flowmaster needed to go.

If you're try to do true duals, disregard. The same tailpipes will work, but everything upstream is different.
