I ordered a pair of over-sized factory hockey stick exhaust tips for my '70 bird on 4/21 along with my dynomax ultra flow welded mufflers from summit within the same day. I've had my mufflers for a week now and greatly appreciate summit for the quick delivery. Well I never received a tracking # from UPS about my NPD order and figured it was on it's way. It's been two weeks since i've made the order and decided to call them up early this morning to see what's going on with my order. I was told I would get a phone call back momentarily but that never happened. I slept for 4 hours to wake up and see they failed to call back. I called once again and a more appreciative person was on the phone today, saying he is shocked they were never sent out and was going to get the tips sent out today.

I still haven't received a tracking # but hopefully this person is right about them being sent today. I've never had a problem with NPD until this recent occurrence. I really needed those tips by now so I could pick the car up/have the exhaust done/have car back in time to do suspension since i'm off next week. Looks like that is not happening on my vacation but whatever.

Thats crazy! I have ordered from NPD lots of times all with out problems other then a couple times I did not receive a tracking number. Once I called I got the tracking number and they also checked to see where it was currently. This is the main reason I phone in all my orders to any where now. I'm sure they will get it took care of but it still sucks you had to wait soooo long.
Hope every thing works out!!

Anyone who has ordered as much stuff as us Firebird crazy motorheads do is bound to have stuff like this happen from time to time. I have ordered 4 speed consoles and received consoles for automatics, Have has to call places back and have been told I'm sorry we forgot to process your order, but will get it out right away today (but was not shipped overnight). I've had to take 1/2 days off from work to wait for a freight truck to deliver items because the best delivery time they said was they will drop it off between 1:00 and 4:00. I have received new chromed parts that I had to send back because there were giant pits in the chrome...all these things from who I would call the most popular on line speed shops, and restoration companies. It is really a pain when you take vacation time to complete a project and something comes in wrong or not at all. But all said an done.....the vast majority of the time I get what I ordered on the day, or sometimes before it was due to arrive. It still bites it when they mess up though.

That's surprising, I used NPD for my hood and trunk deck and it was a very good buying expeience.
