I, along with a few other members from FBN are extending an invitation to anyone to come and join us for the first North Carolina Firebird Nation get together. What I plan on doing is having a get together in Apex/Cary NC sometime within the next 6 weeks. We chose Cary is because it is within everyone's range of driving limits, so no one has to be left out.

It will be on either a Saturday or Sunday depending on what is best for everyone. The 4 dates up for debate are 28th or 29th of August and the 4th or 5th of September. Now we will be choosing 1 day to meet together, and we will probably meet around 5-6pm.

The event will be at The Bass Lake Draft House (aka Bass Lake Ale House). They have superb food, a lot of great choices, great service, a big parking lot (to NC standards), and more than reasonable prices. The link for the Bass Lake Draft House is posted below this message.

Please send me an email/PM and tell me what you think, along with any questions/comments/concerns about the location, dates, etc.

Family Is MORE than welcome to tag along, and bring friends who may be interested as well.

Thanks,

Nick Dillon

I'm planning on being there and the only thing that could prevent me from being there is that the network admin has decided that they are moving all of the servers to thier new location and putting them into the new domain we have been building this friday instead of next friday when it was originally supposed to be done. They have mentioned having to work this saturday but have not said anything definitive about it. If I find out that I'll be workign saturday then I'll let you know as soon as I find out. I put the flyer you made on the horsepowerjunkies and ls1tech forums a couple of weeks ago so maybe some folks from there will show up.

I just found out 10 minutes ago that I have to work Saturday :rant22:

If I'm able to finish what I have to do in time, I'll definately be there. As long as I can get done by around 2pm I'll make it there.
