Now that it is almost Memorial Day and the weather is nice every day...

There are tens of thousands of Firebird guys and gals in the Tri-state area ...Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
I was wondering what events all of the Firebird enthusiasts in Connecticut and surrounding areas were attending?

I hope to see many of you at these events!

I know there a big lawn show for Firebirds in Saratoga Springs (NY) every summer - a Special Olympics charity show I believe. Also Pontiacs in the Park at Virginia Motorsports Park near Richmond. That may be more of a road trip for you. But I plan to make each of those some year myself - all the way from TX!

Rest In Peace, Pete, a.k.a. "Brother Rat" and Jay, our Firebird Brother!
Y'all two keep each other out of trouble up there, okay?

Jim,

You are correct. If you live in the Northeast and can drive to this event, this is a MUST attend event.

This is a great place to meet new Firebird owners and network with Firebird people.

All Firebirds, Formulas, Trans Ams, Firehawks, GTAs, Bandits, Machos, Show Cars, Street Cars, Race Cars, Survivors, Classics, Cruisers, Drivers and works in progress are welcomed to attend.
You will certainly meet old and new Firebird friends and family.

This event usually gets Firebirds from fifteen states and Canada too.

I have not seen a post yet about this show. This is what I know about it. The 8th Annual All Firebird Lawn Show is on Saturday July 10, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the SPA State Park adjacent to the Saratoga Auto Museum, 110 Avenue of the Pines, Saratoga Springs NY 12866.

Kurt,

Thanks for the info in this thread. According to the information in the link, this is a three day Firebird event. All of the proceeds go to the Special Olympics Saratoga.

I asked a friend of mine if he is attending and he said definitely...they get over a thousand Firebirds. This might be a great place to put out some FBN flyers too.
