everyone needs to get on Amazon books and pick up "standard catalog of FIREBIRD 1967-2002" By John Gunnell. I just got it in the mail today and I can't put it down. It's packed full of things that you want to know and things you don't. It's great toilet material!

Interesting.... but as you read through it, you're going to find some serious mistakes. Still nice to look at the pictures.

Posted ImageJosh,

I have about 5 or 6 hardcover books on the Pontiac Firebird.

The Standard Catalog of Firebird 1967 -2002 is OK.

One of my favorite books to refresh my memory and look up information is the hardcover by Marc Cranswick "Firebird The Auto-Biography"First published in 2003 by Veloce Publishing Ltd.

This book has excellent one-of-a-kind photographs of Firebirds and easy to follow chapters on the generation changes.

Just my 2 cents.Posted Image

It is a great book but does have mistakes for sure like the 78 Trans Am being the 'Bandit" which is the 77 in real life. :)

Fred is right, it has a lot of mistakes, and I know I covered them in a few posts before.
