Mike Fortes in Framingham http://www.fortesparts.com/. He has a stroked 377 ready to drop right in which will get you about 410 hp. Mike really knows his stuff.

Mass chapter is no longer a chapter, they started their own club after using FBN for a year to get members. :12EMOTICHEERS:

Of course I am sure there will be another Mass chapter in the near future. :f_bananarockm:

P.S. I would never go to anything near Boston, ever, unless it involved nude women, then I might make an exception... I hate Boston. HATE. H A T E. I won't go further East than Westborough. :)

When you actually sit down and think about it the 305 HO was really a bit of a misnomer if ever there was one! You could have about 150/160 or as much as 190 hp rated motor!
Either I'm missing something or I've just not got the point but if my Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 litre diesel puts out 160 hp and the whole car goes like *#¥* off a chrome plated shovel then how come a Five litre V8 has such poor output?
My car weighe about the same as it's Chevrolet equivalent 4door family saloon.
You should be able to get well over 300 horsepower out of that V8...and get the weight down!!!!!
Now...compare that to a 350 and you have such a tuneable engine which you can do just about anything with displacement and performance-wise...I wonder why they ever bothered with the 305's and sub 4" bore motors.

Yea the 305 is decent i believe it is 190hp 395ft lbs of torque, all it is is a 262 bored out to a 5Ltr and with a 350 crank, it has decent horses but the 4250lb car could use some more power to pull its weight.... 😕
