Follow these simple steps to make it easier for us to help you.
1. Use a clear and concise subject. State the year, and problem clearly. For example, a good subject would read "1996 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Not Starting". In addition to helping us hep you, it also helps those who may have the same problem.
2. Be clear on what the problem is and what you have done in order to try and fix the problem. Nothing is more frustrating then trying to answer a question and have the guy who asked the question say they already tried this or that. Therefore, state what you have already tried.
3. Be sure to include when this problem started and if you had done anything to the vehicle before it started.
I'm (Fred/Injuneer) going to take the liberty of adding a point #4 to the above:
4. When people post helpful suggestions, follow up on those suggestions, and advise the results. There is nothing that will turn off the people who want to help you like ignoring their efforts. Don't expect an "instant" response that requires little, if any, action on your part. You are a part of the solution to the problem.
With this information it will be far easier to help you. In addition, with a clear subject line, it allows those who know your vehicle to help you quickly.
