Since my last post, I really haven't had a problem with them anymore. I just ordered my headers through summit, my debit goes through every time now and my parts arrive within 2 days. I always order online but do avoid talking with them over a phone, very frustrating!

One of the things that irritates me about summit racing is they claim free shipping yet they charge some kind of BS handling fee, which would cost the same as shipping anyway!

And can you imagion that i pay handling cost and shipping cost..

That we are getting screwed in Europe luckily we know a long time already.

And furthermore when you've done your research and know what you need the small print on their site is just wrong! Forget their sales reps they dont know their ass from their elbow. Whats the alternative people? as earlier stated Jegs have less selection....

I've never really had any issues with summit. One time the forgot to put my front swaybar bushings in the box with the rest of my order, but I called and like 2 days later they were there.

You simply can't rely on phone calls, or online distributor parts listings. You are only fooling yourself if you do. You have to do your homework. It's no different than going to a parts store or a dealer parts counter. The people you have to deal with seldom have the detailed level of knowledge that you can gain from contacting the manufacturer directly or using resources like we have on this site. I've had to walk dealer parts guys/gals through their online parts catalog to find the simple part I wanted, even after I gave them the GM name for the part.

I would never base an important part purchase on the details shown in the online catalog, unless I had verified that info with a second source. It's just common sense. Another approach is to deal with performance parts suppliers that specialize in the vehicle/engine you are working with. You may pay a few $$$ more, but you know you are more likely to get better results.
