yeah a NY chapter would be cool. I would definitely join, and I have a friend who has an 87 Firebird who I could get to join. He's not on this board though. I'll have to get him to sign up here.

Idk how often I could do meets and stuff, at least anytime besides summer. I commute to college and stuff this year, and next year I'll be away at college....

but a NY chapter would still be cool, just to say we have one lol
1992 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350- my baby. My summer DD, runs and drives great but needs some minor work. Current mods: 4th gen center console, aftermarket Alpine stereo and Polk Audio speakers. Future plans: new exhaust system (winter project), engine overhaul and upgrade once the L98 gets tired (which won't be for a good long while since she's been well taken care of and has another 150,000 in her I'm sure) and new paint job and decals. Current gremlins bugging me: a passenger window motor dying a slow and painful death, a very slowly leaking power steering hose, and a drivers seat that likes to recline and rock back and forth without me touching the lever lol. I'd love to get a nice set of black 4th gen seats for it at some point but it's not my main concern. My Dad's the only one who can't stand the current seats lol

She's not perfect, but she's still awesome!

Unfortunately I'm away at school now so I really don't get to see her as much :(. This summer should be a good one. New rims (The Ronals in the picture below) are going back on the car, and by the end of the summer I hope to put a new exhaust on it, but we'll see

Just to add, I'm an hour or more away from almost every meet we have, unless it's at my house. So there definitely will be driving involved. We are spread across 75 miles of Massachusetts, a member from CT and have a member from Central NH as well who is 2 hours away. And you're two hours away from us as well Kate, no?

Try to start it. All of you should plan a get together at some midway place and see if it will work. If you don't try, it will never happen.

If you begin with a few people and get more members, then you can separate into upstate/downstate, eastern/western or whatever chapters are most convenient. That's what Florida is working on.
You can't lose anything by trying. C'mon Kate, take the ball!

Right on, another potential FBNCC member in NY!! Welcome to Firebird Nation.
Need AMSOIL? Don't pay full price for AMSOIL, let me save you big bucks, or let me set you up with a factory direct account, but whatever you do, don't pay full price by buying directly from AMSOIL! To read my own personal research into AMSOIL and why I decided to make the change myself, check out my AMSOIL synthetic motor oil site.

Kind of crazy, but I have actually seen your car before, I go to Siena and I used to be in that Advanced Auto all the time, back in like september, with my other firebird.
Sweet ride by the way
