Ok, i made a rookie mistake by not taking note of how many shims were behind the control arm shaft during disassembly, i went back with the stock a arms and shafts but im at a stand still with putting them back on the frame until i can figure out if i need to shim it first or just dont worry about it and let an alignment shop look at it once its back on the road again

Since its going to need an alignment anyway i wouldn't worry about it.

A coworker asked me what its like restoring my car I told him its like going to the parts store once a week to buy one part for five years until you have enough parts to build a whole car and then put it together with no directions !

Yeah I keep mine all nice and in order so I could just replace them and then I knocked them off the table.  I just bolted it up without the shims and took it to the alignment shop. It ended up with way less shims than what was in it originally.  But it goes down the road straight and everything seems correct.
