I replaced my temp sensor by the power steering pump since the gauge hardly ever moved (or never moved at all).

Now my temp gauge works and the temp is always below the halfway mark. But everytime the gauge goes after the 1/4 mark (while warming up the engine) the check gauges light comes on and wont shut off until sometimes the the needle goes below 1/4. It goes back up and the check gauges light comes back on.

It's very unpleasant seeing the light, I feel something might go wrong. Any idea what could it be?

I read on other 3.4 forums that its because mostly because of the fuel gauge (I don't let my car go below half tank). Voltage gauge is always at half mark. Oil Pressure is always jumping depending on what movement the car is doing.

Light never showed up until I changed the temp sensor.
