my 68 originaly came with a column shift and bench seat....can't find how many came optioned like this

There's no way to trace it. Manufacture's were doing good to keep track of how many were produced by style, engine size and transmission. Pre computer era.

 

If someone wanted to work with Pontiac Historical Services and transfer all the information from microfiche to a computer database, we all might know a lot more. But until someone does that, we're stuck.

found a ton of info in "The definitive firebird guide"   but couldn't find those numbers.     like the look of your car...bet it's fun with a 4 speed
