Before anyone can answer your question, you need to let us know what your level of mechanical expertise is.

What extent of upgrades - engine, drivetrain, suspension - they all need to be worked together for best results. How is the car used.... 1/4-mile, Auto-X, stoplight drags, corner carver, daily driver? Do you have a budget?

I think I'll hijack this thread.
I have good skills in both mechanics and electronics. And maybe I'll do some small mods for the future, Even though I'm very satisfied with the stock LT! engine and exhaust. Good mpg and sound. And the power at low rpm is there. That's what you need for a daily driver at the red light with occasionally "stomps".
I don't want to change the exhaust though. Just got a new original Cat.

I read about other that have done the roller rockers exchange? Is it the easiest/"best for the buck" mod without changing the OBD settings on a LT1 -95?

Cheers // Ove

Here's some LT1 modification ideas, with dyno results - very old site, but still valid:

I fixed the topic title.  Not sure if this thread will develop into anything, since the thread originator has not signed back in for a week.

Tires are always a good mod too. Good grip is hard to beat, unless you like to spin them, I suppose.

1994 Firebird Trans Am

Pacesetter LT headers, No cat, 3" exhaust, x-pipe, custom Moroso dual exhaust dumped at rear axle, EGR delete, A/C delete, SLP CAI, TB coolant Bypass, Strange 12 Bolt 4.11 4-series Eaton Posi S/T Axles LPW Ultra diff cover, LCA relcation brackets, Wolfe single rear sway/drag bar, UMI double adjustable panhard bar (roto/poly), UMI boxed weld-in subframe connectors, UMI strut tower brace, Walbro fuel pump, pcmforless tuned, in-line fuel pressure gauge, Jegs electric water pump and relay kit, low fan speed @200, high fan speed @207, Petris vented optispark.

Still need to install the 12 bolt... ran a 13.8 @102.8 mph on the stock 10 bolt with 2.73's at New England Dragway.

Next steps are UMI double adjustable LCA's, ZR1 replicas with some Nitto NT05 rubber, and a T56 junk yard swap...

Very interested in this thread myself. I just inherited a 94 Formula from my favourite Uncle, 5.7 LT1, Auto Trans. 100% stock original condition 90k miles survivor. I want improved drivability and moderate street performance for a recreational driver. I looking for thoughtful advice and I want to avoid other peoples mistakes. Currently living in Germany, just shipped the car here from Waco Texas.
