So my car overheated again, even after bleeding the system. Turns out my fan relay isn't there, so my fans dont work at all right now. Could this be the problem?

they could be a big problem..... if fans arent coming on, then only air that is moving thru ur radiator is whatever is being pushed thru while driving.... no air movement at all when idling..... also, u'll overheat running ur a/c without ur fans working.....

At a minimum get a switch and direct wire to the fans. Just remember to turn them off when you park it'!
Ideally, a new relay/controller is the way to go.

In a 94, there are up to two relay spots that are not used. Position J may not be used, and Position G is for traction control, which was not available in 94. How may fan relays you should have depends on whether the car was produced early in the model year (2 fan relays) or late in the model year (3 fan relays). A fan relay fault sets a PCM code - have you EVER tried scanning it? I think this has been suggested before.

No, I got the car a few months ago, didn't drive it for a few weeks, then replaced the fuel pump, ran fine till the radiator hose split. Got it fixed, then it overheated today. This is the first.time I noticed anything with the relays.
The only time I took it to a shop was to get the fuel pump replaced.

Well when the hose split, I didn't drive it. I fixed the hose the next day, then drove it home fine. I saw the fan relay 1,2,3. I plugged in New relays for all those.
