Hi!

I have a 1994 Firebird 3.4. If i am right, this is the 4L60E transmission.

Few days ago i hit a bump in the road (in Norway the roads are really bad, with holes everywhere) :rant22:

The ABS light turned on, and it felt like the car "braked", and the RPM revved up.

I turned off and on the car, and the ABS light disappeared. But the shift problem is still there. It feels like it wont shift higher then 2nd gear, and if you have much throttle and release the pedal at high RPM, it shifts into 4th (i think)

I have read a lot about the sensors in the transmission, and i am thinking that it maybe could be a shift solenoid?

I have also read about problems with the VSS, but they also had none working speedometer.

Does anyone have a clue what this could be? VSS? Shift A+B? ABS?

:25help:
