Showroom Rules
The "Showroom" forum is inteded for all users of FBN, all users are allowed to share information, pictures and videos of their cars.
Showroom Rules:
1. You are only allowed to post a thread about a car you own, not e.g. one you've found on the Internet.
2. The cars show does not need to be modified.
3. The topic title should be built up in the following way: Year, Model, Color, Engine.
Eg. 1993 Pontiac Firebird, 3.4L V6, red
4. The topic description should have a brief description of the mods, if there are any.
Eg. After market exhaust, 18" wheels, CAI
5. All new modifications that are added to the forum after the original post is created should be either modified into the original post, or at least added to the same thread.
6. There is one thread per car allowed.
7. All threads MUST have pictures of the car in question, and preferably of all the mods, there is no fun reading a showoff thread without pictures. Any such thread will be removed.
(In order to use images stored on your computer you will need to upload it to the Internet first. You can e.g. upload it to your gallery on here. When uploaded, click on it with your wrong mouse button, choose properties, and a new window will pop up. Mark the address, copy it by pressing ctrl+c, go to your post and insert the address and add img tags around it.)
8. Comments are always welcomed, and everyone is encouraged to comment other cars. Before you comment though, consider if you would like to read a comment like your's yourself about your car. If you wouldn't it's probably best that you keep your comments to yourself. All cars are probably as valuable to the owners, irrespective of how much time or money is put down on the car in question.

And now I'll tell you something about this beauty.
The car was bought in an american base here in Europe ( I think in Germany) something like 20 or so years ago. It's always been kept with great care and was driven not very often. It used to have AFI plates and, as I wrote in my introduction, when they expired we encountered huge problems with the registration of the car in Italy. We're still trying to sort them out but if you read the complete procedure in my introduction you'll see how complex it is.
As you can see from the pictures the car is lifted on jackstands both at front and in the back to avoid ruining the tires (by the way they're brand new :D. It was raised a long time ago because we knew what a problem it was to get new italian plates.
A good solution would be to send the car to the States and have someone take care of it....the procedure is it the same in any state??...I have an aunt that lives in Arizona, near Tucson.
The bodywork is in good shape, there's only a little crack at front as you can see from the photos, and it needs to be repainted under the driver's door. I've seen that the front rotors are getting a lot of rust. But these are all minor problems....I just need to be allowed to drive it. Then I'll do everything.
Last but absolutely not least, the engine, as far as I know, is in good shape too. About a year ago it was started and showed no problems whatsoever. I love v8s  ....
This is all for now...
THX everyone for your compliments!! really appreciate that!

WOW! Really nice car man, you must get a lot of jealous looks drivin that thing around in Italy :rockon22:
If I could only drive it DOH! :rockon22:
But you're right, when my father used to drive it around years and years ago people were very surprised...people don't even know what a trans am is....I recall once we were at a gas station on the highway...I was about 10...my grandma was driving (she's always been a very good driver :waitasec: )....people passed by and they stared as if it were a space ship :rockon22:
