Just a reminder for all the long distance drivers out there, that this is a traveling show, and next year it may be in your neck of the woods, and then some of us close to Omaha will be on the road, so don't put it off, as we plan to make these meets friendly for everyone at one time or another.

I already have ideas as to were next years will be held, but won't reveal that information until we see how the turnout is for this years meet.

Member participation is the key to the National GTGs growth, so lets make this year (our 1st) a good one to show everybody that we are serious.

Thanks!

Leon

Pete said "This is an event I will try real hard to make, it would be so cool to meet all of you!" I think that this statement is true for most of the dedicated FBN posters on this site.http://www.firebirdnation.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/B).gif

FBN member participation is critical to the National GTGs and their expansion into other regions of the country where there are tens of thousands of Firebird enthusiasts.http://www.firebirdnation.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/dance.gif

I hope that the first year National meeting is a good one...http://www.firebirdnation.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/30tens.gif

I challenge all those FBN members who live in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri...it is a short drive for you guys....you ALL should be there attending the festivities.http://www.firebirdnation.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/beer.gif

For me 1486 miles in 23 hours to Omaha from the East Coast is too much...plus I do not want to put 2900 round trip miles on a 41 year old car.

So next year maybe you can move the event to the Ohio area where you can pick up FBN members who are in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, MIchigan and New York.

Just a thought...http://www.firebirdnation.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/twocents.gif
