My name is Jake, I am Petes (Brother Rats) son. This morning at 5am his heart basically stopped from what we know right now. The paramedics tried to revive him but they did not succeed. No one was expecting this at all, it was very sudden. I am in shock along with everyone else, the Firebird, Fiero, Monza, and his truck now sit in the driveway. I know that he would want me to let everyone know what happened.
Everyone on here was very good friends with him, and he loved his radio shows.

Thanks,
Jake
R.I.P (Brother Rat) Dad I will miss you forever!

Jake, sorry to hear about your loss, this is certainly sad and hard news for all of us here at FBN. Pete will be missed by all of us here. Pete brought a great element to the site. Words cannot describe the pain felt when we suffer the loss of a loved one, but the peace of our Savior can and does help like no other. My condolences and prayers are with you.

Sorry, but unlcear how you are related, looks like nephew or son, help please.

Jake.

I just joined this forum, but listened to your dad's show on Saturday night. I'm glad I did. He seemed like a hell of a nice guy.

He will be missed by many on here. Thanks for letting us know.

My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family.

I am relatively new to the site compared to a lot of you guys, and I didn't know Pete too well, but from what I've seen and heard, he was a great contributor to the site, and a great man. Such a terrible loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jake in this tough time
1992 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350- my baby. My summer DD, runs and drives great but needs some minor work. Current mods: 4th gen center console, aftermarket Alpine stereo and Polk Audio speakers. Future plans: new exhaust system (winter project), engine overhaul and upgrade once the L98 gets tired (which won't be for a while) and new paint job and decals. Current gremlins bugging me: headlight motors in need of a rebuild (have parts, just need time), a passenger window motor slowly dying, a very slowly leaking power steering hose

She's not perfect, but she's still awesome!!!

Unfortunately I'm away at school now so I really don't get to see her as much :(. This winter I'll work on her hopefully, and then next summer she'll get some more work done to her.
